It's time for another year of fun filled Missing Sox trivia. The person with the most answers at the end of the year may or may not get valuable prizes!

If you are the first person to answer a regular question correctly you get the points.  Everyone gets points for the bonus questions!

Standings after Six weeks

OK folks, people (including myself) are a bit behind in trivia.  Answer any and all questions from the past few weeks.

A few of you have answered, and I'll update the scores according.  Till then answer any trivia you may have forgotten the first time around.

Week #9:

After the game (yes we did play, we just didn't roll over) all Bob Emerson could do was talk about himself, so in honor of his verbosity: It's all Bob Trivia all this week.  Get more Bob that you ever really wanted......

This week's questions (week #3):

1. What Rob Reiner movie has Bob Stechler never seen?  Answer: "This is Spinal Tap" answered correctly by, guess who, BOB STECHLER.  We also would have accepted "This Princess Bride", but I don't know if Bob has missed this gem.

2. What DVD (of a TV series) did Bob Emerson get this week?  answer: "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" (season 4 I believe).  answered by Little Bob

3. What Fruit Disease did Bob Emerson contract a couple weeks ago? Answer: "Lyme Disease" (you are all perverts)  answered by Bob Emerson

4. Who were we calling Ms. Ramirez for not running hard to first after putting the ball in play?  Answer: Mad Dog

5. What do you call a man with no legs floating in the water? Answer: BOB, get it folks, floating..... BOB.  HAHAHAHA..........

This week's questions (week #4):

1. What's the the name of Lesley's baby? Answer: Thomas. correctly answered by no one, but we'll give points to Lesley for probably knowing it

2. Where did we get the post game pizza? Answer: Christie's.  I was looking for where it was ordered from, but because of the ambiguity of the question I'll accept Little Bob's answer of "delivered to the ball field".

3. What does the 'Good Luck Charm' pillow have written on it? Answer: "I'd rather be bowling" correctly answered by Little Bob Stechler who by the way found that pillow at a yard sale.

4. Name any of the players we had on loan from Who's Who? Answer: Rick and Sue.  I thought this one was a toughie, but Bob keeps on coming with the answers. getting both players, and thus garnering valuable double mega deluxe bonus points

5. Who did our score keeping for most of the game?  Answer: Carol Collette.

Week #5 trivia:

1. Name two of the Missing Sox regulars that didn't show up today. Answer: Big Bob and Timmy (sounds like a 60's folk group.) I realize this was easy, but you're getting soft (most of you) and you need the gimmies.  Answered again by little Bob aka the trivia king

2. Who got a new truck this week? Answer: Dave (a new work truck) no one got this question

3. What number am I thinking of? (it's late and there really wasn't a lot of trivia happening today.)  Answer: PI, but we'll accept trivia Bob's answer of 69 just for being original.

Game #2:

1. What former Red Sox third base coach was I reminded of after a particularly horrific third base coaching incident at our game?  Answer: who can forget the wonderful time we had with Wendell Kim, the ompa-loompa from hell??!!!  Once again correctly answered first by Bob Stechler

2. What brand of beverage was the opposition drinking? Answer:  Icehouse, the king of bowling season, which worked well enough for them even in the summer.  If anyone had visited the opposition they would have known this. Correctly answered by Dick Kurtz

3. What Missing Sox player declined to massage my groin injury? Answer: Bob Stechler, correctly answered by guess who......

Bonus Question: Todays category is HotDog Stands.  On what day can you get 4 Hot Dogs for the price of 3 at Hot Dog Annies? and the Superbonus question is what is my favorite type of dog there?  Answer: Wednesday, and Barbeque with onions.  No correct answers, but Bob Stechler gets a point for trying with "Chili, cheese and onions"

Game #1:

1. Name all the Missing Sox Members that got homeruns in our first game?   This was a bit of a trick question.  The ONLY member of the Missing Sox to get a homerun was Big Bad Bob Emerson (aka "Big Bob").  The one and only person to answer this question correctly was Bob Stechler.

2. Name one person on Vandalay Industries that didn't get a home run? I'm not sure what her name was but it was the female on Vandalay.  Bob is now 2-2.

3. Who was awarded the Missing Sox version of the triple crown?  Mad Dog got the award for striking out three times in a row.  No one got this.  Apparently Mad Dog didn't read the trivia - BAD MAD DOG, BAD MAD DOG!!!

Bonus Question:  This years theme - I haven't decided yet, but today's theme is Buffy the Vampire Slayer

4) After Buffy's mom died, Buffy got a job at a fast food restaurant.  What was the name?  You people disgust me!! No one got this one.  I thought Big Bob would get this one, but he may have had other things going on.  The correct answer was "The DoubleMeat Place"
